FundingPips has announced a new Trader Copier feature designed to help traders manage and execute trades across multiple accounts from a single location.
The prop firm shared the update on social media, describing the tool as a solution for traders who manage larger amounts of trading capital across different accounts.
According to FundingPips, the Trader Copier allows users to sync accounts across prop firms and broker accounts, potentially reducing the need to place the same trades manually on each account.
The feature is around convenience and centralized account management. Traders can connect multiple accounts and use one dashboard to manage their trading activity, making the process of handling several accounts more streamlined.
FundingPips highlighted a quick setup process as one of the feature’s key benefits. This could be particularly relevant for traders who operate multiple accounts and want to reduce the time spent switching between platforms or manually replicating positions.
The introduction also reflects the growing demand for account-management tools among prop traders. As traders increasingly combine accounts from proprietary trading firms with personal broker accounts, managing identical strategies across different environments can become operationally challenging.
However, traders should pay close attention to FundingPips’ specific copy-trading rules before using the feature. The firm’s current trading conduct policy allows copying between a trader’s own FundingPips accounts and allows a FundingPips account to act as a master for an external account, while copying trades into FundingPips from an external source is prohibited.
FundingPips has also recently highlighted copy trading as a feature of its Zero accounts, suggesting that the firm’s approach to account replication depends on the account type and direction of copying.
For traders managing multiple accounts, the new Trader Copier could therefore provide a more centralized way to execute a strategy while maintaining awareness of each account’s individual rules and risk limits.
The update adds another technology-focused feature to FundingPips’ platform offering as prop firms increasingly compete on tools designed to make multi-account trading easier and more efficient.
