Funded Trading Plus $4 Activation Accounts With Pay-Later Model

Funded Trading Plus has introduced a new Activation Accounts model that lets traders start a prop trading challenge for just $4, with the remaining activation cost due only after successfully passing the challenge.

The new structure is available across $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000 account sizes. Regardless of the selected account size, traders pay the same $4 upfront to begin.

The Activation Account uses a single-phase challenge with a 2% profit target. Funded Trading Plus says there is no time limit, minimum trading-day requirement, or consistency rule attached to the challenge, giving traders more flexibility in how they approach the target.

The payment structure is the key feature of the new offering. Traders who pass the challenge can then pay the applicable activation fee, after which their simulated funded account is available. If they do not pass, the initial $4 payment represents their entire cost under the model.

The program is available through MT5 and Match-Trader, providing traders with a choice of trading platforms when starting the challenge.

For traders comparing prop firm models, the Activation Account approach shifts a larger portion of the payment to the point where the challenge has already been complete. Instead of paying the full challenge or account activation cost before trading, participants can begin for a nominal $4 and only pay the remaining fee after meeting the firm’s stated requirements.
