FundedNext has announced a leverage update for traders using its Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step, and Lite Challenge programs, along with funded accounts. The changes became effective on May 18, 2026, and apply to both existing accounts and new purchases.

According to the firm, leverage on Indices and Commodities has been increased after earlier reductions introduced during periods of elevated market volatility. The company stated that recent market conditions have become more stable, allowing traders to access higher flexibility again.

Under the updated structure, traders using Stellar 2-Step and Lite Challenges will now receive leverage of 1:25 on both Indices and Commodities during the challenge phase, compared to the previous 1:15. For funded accounts under the same models, leverage has increased from 1:5 to 1:15.

For Stellar 1-Step accounts, leverage on Indices during the challenge phase is from 1:5 to 1:10, while funded accounts also move to 1:10. Commodities leverage for the challenge phase has increased from 1:10 to 1:15, with funded accounts rising from 1:5 to 1:10.

FundedNext explained that the earlier reductions were due to geopolitical uncertainty and unstable market conditions seen earlier this year. The firm said the temporary restrictions were here to help traders manage exposure during periods of abnormal volatility.

The updated leverage structure is now active across all currently running accounts as well as future account purchases. Traders participating in FundedNext programs will therefore be able to access the revised conditions immediately without requiring account changes or migrations.
