E8 Markets has shared plans for a new in-person trading experience titled The E8 Live Lounge Experience, set for January 30–31, 2026, in Prague, Czech Republic. The proprietary trading firm is positioning the event as an alternative to conventional trading seminars, aiming to deliver a more realistic and pressure-tested view of how professional traders operate.

The firm confirmed that attendance will be free, but participation will be limited to approved applicants through an invite-only process. E8 Markets noted that the concept moves away from slide decks and staged presentations, instead offering what it describes as a “living-room-style” setting where experienced traders demonstrate how they make decisions in real market conditions.

Rather than focusing on broad strategy theory, the program will center on practical behaviors and mental frameworks used by long-term performers. Planned learning themes include the single discipline rule that elite traders do not break, the use of simulated pressure to develop emotional control, techniques for keeping risk exposure low during drawdown periods, and the key traits that distinguish traders who remain in the industry from those who drop out.

The physical setup is ready to be informal yet structured, featuring sofas, a cinema-style screen, low background music, and segments. Scheduled elements include short talks, an “inside-the-desk” panel discussion, and a mentorship bar. At the mentorship bar, attendees will be able to book seven-minute one-on-one sessions with three mentors, Albert Burgess, Max Van der Haagen, and Ken Chigbo, covering topics such as execution, risk management, and liquidity. A 30-second video booth will also be available for participants to record short reflections on their takeaways from the event.

Each mentor brings a distinct background. Albert Burgess is famous for emphasizing process-driven trading over prediction. Max Van der Haagen focuses on liquidity dynamics, narrative, and market intent. Ken Chigbo offers more than 17 years of experience from London trading desks, with a track record in connecting macroeconomic views to execution decisions.

Closing Remarks

E8 Markets stated that the event is ready to frame trading as a mental performance discipline rather than a purely technical activity. By showcasing real-time decision-making and structured risk control, the firm aims to give participants a closer look at how professional standards are in practice. Applications for the Live Lounge Experience are now open.
